This morning I planted some mesclun in the tank I have in the greenhouse. While there I harvested some baby kale leaves which will complement our evening meal.

Late Winter Buds
It seems frivolous to take pictures of buds while so much is happening in the world that is worrisome. But I did spend a few minutes in the yard ...
Here the weather has been spring like, unlike in much of the rest of the country, and the fruit trees are forming buds. I hope they will not open prematurely and eventually fall off unpollinated.

Basil
The potted basil is lasting, but the newest leaves are curling. Soon it'll be time to plant new basil seeds.

The winter roses are also thriving and giving me pleasure.
